Our client is a small and hardworking firm with great tenure in the Auckland market. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Advisory Accountant to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. You are a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional looking for somewhere to make your mark and enjoy building strong client relationships. You’ll assist a wider team in providing end-to-end accounting services for a diverse range of clients. You will enjoy a close knit team as well as actively contributing to a great culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with proactive communication
- Prepare financial statements and compliance returns
- Tax returns
- Reports, cashflows and budgets
- Active and timely reporting
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Accounting
- CA or CPA certification (or actively working towards it)
- Experience within a CA environment working with smaller businesses
- Xero and Cloud based expertise
- Strong technically, great communication, and organisational skills
- A team player who’s accurate, professional, and detail-oriented
- Bonus points if you have experience with final reviews
