Associate Director - Transformation, Design & Delivery | Permanent | Auckland
We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in transformation delivery and project management to join a dynamic team delivering transformative change across multiple industries.
About the role
In this role, you will take charge of large-scale transformation programmes, leading the delivery of complex initiatives while guiding diverse stakeholders and teams to achieve successful outcomes. Your work will directly impact clients, helping them navigate the intersection of strategy, technology, and change.
- Lead Transformation Programmes: Own the strategic governance and delivery of major transformation initiatives, ensuring success at every step.
- Manage Complex Projects: Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive projects forward, keeping them within scope, on budget, and on time. Provide advisory support and lead project health checks to ensure continuous improvement.
- Change Management Excellence: Lead change efforts, ensuring smooth transitions as clients embrace new technologies and ways of working.
- Client-Centric Leadership: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

You'll bring a strong background in project and programme management, combined with expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You are someone who can blend technical expertise with a strategic consultant mindset.
You have:
- 7+ years of experience in transformation delivery with a strong track record in managing large-scale projects.
- Experience in traditional project management, SAFe, IC Agile, and general Agile practices.
- A structured, organised approach to delivery, coupled with the flexibility to adapt to both structured and more collaborative, agile environments.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment, with solid understanding of client engagement, risk processes, and the sales aspect of the role, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, drive teams, and lead transformational change.
