My Biography

Joining us from Ireland with a Bachelor of Business in Culinary Arts, Louise Devine is a welcomed member to the Momentum family as our Wellington Office Coordinator. Louise followed her passion and began her career working as a pastry chef in 5-star establishments across Ireland and the United States. Before travelling to New Zealand, Louise was the Head Pastry Chef at the Savoy Hotel in Ireland where she enjoyed planning new ideas and managing a team. With a keen business mind, Louise set up her own custom cake design company and enjoyed the organisational, creative aspect to her work. After much career success overseas, Louise caught the travel bug and had heard great things about the culture of New Zealand, thus bringing her to our shores. Wanting to work with more diverse people and further expand her career, Louise joined Momentum with her strong people and events coordination skills. Her positive energy and detail orientated perspective drives her work, making her a valuable asset to the team.

My Why

Coming from a hospitality background, I embrace organised chaos! I enjoy working in such a diverse role, allowing me to use my organisational skills and creativity on a daily basis.

My Desert Island, 3 things that I would take

My dogs Lady and Honey (technically they come as one), my library of music and a lifetime supply of tea.

My Weekend

Baking, brunching or bonding with canine friends at the SPCA.

My Success

Travelling the world solo over the past few years. It has allowed me to see some truly amazing places and meet people that have become a big part of my life!

My Alternative

Cake Decorating! I spend a lot of time spare time swooning over cakes online and looking for new and exciting ideas to put to the test.
