We are looking for a Data Analyst who’s comfortable diving into spreadsheets, cleaning and transforming data, and turning information into clear, actionable insights.
This is a part-time role for around 20 hours per week spread over 5 weekday mornings with a potential requirement to be in the CBD one morning per week with the rest working remotely. It would suit someone that is detail-oriented, analytical, and confident using Excel and Power Query, with SQL and Power BI experience a strong advantage.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the business with accurate data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Typical responsibilities include:
- Using Excel and Power Query to clean, transform, and model large data sets
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and performance reports
- Conducting regular data integrity checks and reconciliations
- Creating and maintaining automated reports to track KPIs and business trends
- Partnering with internal teams to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful insights
- Documenting processes and ensuring repeatable, reliable data workflows
To be a success in this role you have:
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, charts)
- Strong working knowledge of Power Query for data transformation and automation
- Experience with data cleansing, manipulation, and analysis
- Ideally, familiarity with Power BI or similar visualisation tools and SQL
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A problem-solving mindset and confidence working independently
