The Changing Face of Leadership in an Agile Environment
Our November meetup looks at how the role of the leader changes in an agile environment. Sue and Paul will share their experiences through Spark’s whole of organisation Agile Transformation and will talk about leading in an agile environment and achieving cultural change.
Paul has recently celebrated 11 years at Spark. In that time Paul has worked in various Senior Commercial roles with Spark and more recently led the highly innovative Fibre Capability Team at Spark. Paul was previously responsible for overseeing Spark’s complexed fibre asset, fibre build programme and managing Spark’s fibre build supplier relationships to ensure that Spark’s network and business objectives were achieved. Paul actively explored opportunities for collaboration between telecommunication companies and across sectors with organisation’s that have common interests.
Paul has spent the last 12 months gaining accreditation as one of the first Spark in house Coaches and then supporting the business in their huge Agile transformation journey. Paul is now a Partner Coach primarily focusing on supporting squads in Sales and Service South CDU as well as supporting their Leadership Squad Tūhono.
Sue has over 20 years of business and information technology experience. Sue joined Spark three years ago as a Portfolio Delivery Manager and then moved into Agile Coaching to support Spark’s agile transformation across the whole organisation.
Like Paul, Sue gained accreditation as one of Sparks in house Agile Coaches and is Partner Coach for their Technology Change tribe. Sue is passionate about helping teams be the best they can be and delivering great results to customers. Prior to her roles at Spark, Sue led Professional Services Consultancy company, Sysdoc.
